About The Position

Performs functions directed towards successfully and efficiently meeting production goals for customer orders by efficiently blending and bagging product on packaging line. Will also perform functions directed toward successfully and efficiently meeting goals for customer orders by performing all required shipping and receiving functions. You will be crossed trained in both departments.

Requirements

High School of GED equivalent required.
Ability to communicate well both oral and written
Ability to lift 50lbs continuously
Ability to comfortably operate standard warehouse equipment

Nice To Haves

Knowledge about manufacturing food preferred

Responsibilities

Properly sets up the machine for start up
Fill blender with ingredients weighing up to 55lbs
Mix ingredients per recipe
Fills bags with product as per the required weight and maintains packaging line standards.
Required to assist in stacking at the end of the line as needed by loading boxes/ bags onto pallet. Bags weigh 50lbs
Complete paperwork as needed.
Must maintain the integrity of the product. This is a fast paced production environment
Keeps area and equipment clean; follows LOTO procedures when cleaning equipment.
Required to regularly stand, sit, walk, bend, lift and reach up to 8-10 hours
Operate fork lift to load and unload trucks
Must insure all products are properly coded
Must pull orders and assist in warehouse placement of stock.
Must assist in inventory and cycle counts
Must be able to complete all required logs, complete shipping and receiving paperwork
Must have knowledge of finished goods and raw material storage areas
Must be self-motivated individual with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Demonstrate ability to use computer system efficiently and accurately for daily tasks, including data entry, communication and basic troubleshooting.
Must follow all foods safety protocols
Must follow all safety rules
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
