We are searching for a result-oriented Production Worker to join our Vantage Team. About Us Vantage Elevation, LLC is North America’s leading independent manufacturer of elevator components and systems. Vantage is comprised of eight business units including GAL Manufacturing; GAL Canada; BSIS; Hollister-Whitney; Elevator Controls; Courion; Bore-Max; Thames Valley Controls and Vertical Dimensions. Through its brands, Vantage supplies almost all electro-mechanical devices used in contemporary elevators. The Vantage group employs over 900 staff in multiple locations across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Vantage is seeking a motivated Production Worker that will be responsible for arranging shipments of materials, inspecting and verifying goods, managing inventory levels of shipping materials and supplies, and operating a forklift. The Production Worker must have outstanding communication and strong work ethic. They must operate equipment to meet facility goals for safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork. Requirements

• High School degree with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
• Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts, including cherry pickers, clamp trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks, etc.
• Proficient in computer skills.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and procedures.
• Exceptional work ethic, time management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Benefits

• Salary for New York Based Applicants: $17.00 an hour (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and in keeping with local legislation)
• Weekly Pay
• This is an hourly position with overtime available.
• After 90 days, this position will be eligible for benefits through the IBEW, Local 3 Union
