About The Position

The Production Supervisor at KeHE is responsible for overseeing the selection, replenishment, and loading of products in a cost-effective manner. This role requires strong customer service skills and a background in key performance indicators (KPIs). The supervisor will manage a team of 20-30 associates across various departments, ensuring compliance with operational standards and promoting a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Minimum of two years of related experience in warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of warehouse technology and Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight time constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the selection, replenishment, and loading of products efficiently.
  • Manage a team of 20-30 associates in the dry, each-pick, and perishables departments.
  • Oversee outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy and condition of shipments.
  • Communicate proactively with internal contacts regarding warehouse processes.
  • Inspect shift operations for compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ensure daily inspection requirements of material handling equipment are met.
  • Standardize procedures to improve efficiency among subordinates.
  • Resolve grievances and maintain harmony among workers.
  • Ensure timely training of warehouse associates.
  • Troubleshoot systems issues affecting product delivery and receiving.
  • Plan daily and weekly production activities as necessary.
  • Maintain HACCP standards and ensure food safety compliance.
  • Follow Safety and OSHA rules and maintain inventory integrity.
