About The Position

The Warehouse Equipment Operator will ship, receive, unload, scan, move, stage, load, locate, relocate, and stack products, utilizing equipment to perform tasks to ensure that department facility objectives are met.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalency required.
1 year of relevant work experience, preferably within a distribution center or warehouse.
1 year of experience operating various types of powered equipment in a warehouse environment, such as Electric Pallet Jack, Forklift, Turret, Order Picker.
Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.

Experience driving Crown Powered Equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products/materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment.
Operate various types of equipment in the warehouse, including RF Scanners, Electric Pallet Jack, Forklift, Turret, Order Picker, Counter Balance Forklift (Stand Up Reach) and any other powered equipment as needed for the task on hand.
Responsible for order selection processes as assigned by the Operations Supervisor and/or Operations Manager.
Assess all products and pallets, notifying supervisor(s) of any damaged materials.
Responsible for maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in the department.
Continuous mental and/or visual attention; the work requires constant alertness in a warehouse environment.
The physical demand typically applied in this job includes lifting, pulling, reaching, carrying, pushing, standing, walking, stooping, and bending.
Able to stand for long periods of time and work in hot conditions during summer months.
Able to lift 30 – 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
Able to lift to 100 lbs. with help on an occasional basis.

Must be flexible to working overtime, which is sometimes mandatory
