About The Position

Keep our communities fed. As a Porter, you will clean and maintain the administrative offices, warehouse and other assigned areas in order to satisfy company and governmental guidelines. You will clean and sanitize designated areas of a warehouse as well as tend to product spill clean-up. All of our employees are expected to make safety their top priority.

Responsibilities

Providing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment by acting as a custodian / janitor
Performing janitorial duties such as cleaning the entire warehouse, including office space, employee break areas, windows and restrooms
Maintaining good housekeeping by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing and waxing floors
Occasionally pulling product out of pick slots using an electric pallet jack to clean with a scrubber and returning product
Tending to spills including damaged product, oil, grease, etc.
Collecting plastic wrap, shredded paper, and empty boxes to be disposed of properly
Following all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
Having the ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
