About The Position

As a Warehouse Picking you’ll be in charge of lead the team on picking material for projects area and also review the packing process for proejcts on our valve business. Picking materials, components and end products and delivering them to Production or shipping. Work with the warehouse team to perform cycle counts and Prepare component kits for production, filling orders and supplier subcontract parts, support receiving operations with putway proccesses and knowledge on ERP SAP.

Requirements

  • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • Possess good written communication skills
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic math and basic PC skills.
  • Ability to work in fast paced and noisy environment with constant movement while performing the duties of this job
  • Support warehouse operations with knowledge on SAP including, picking process, packing process follow up.
  • Responsible to continue the daily operations for projects environment including picking operations and packing processes on the projects area
  • Lead picking and packing team dedicated on projects to satisfy and complete the picking and packing requirements for the product lines
  • Identify opportunities of improvement and work with staff team, and warehouse operations team to execute it. Responsible for daily execution metrics under the project area on picking and packing and working with warehouse manager to achieve daily warehouse KPIs.
  • Responsible for training new team members on warehouse operations and SAP knowledge. Support special projects as assigned by business execution
  • must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • must be able to operate a forklift while loading or unloading freight
