About The Position
TentandTable.com is a rapidly growing, dynamic company looking for a motivated, dependable, and hardworking individual to join our warehouse team in Buffalo, NY as a Warehouse Picker/Packer. In this role, you will be an integral part of ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, shipping, and maintaining the organization of the warehouse. As a Warehouse Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for unpacking, verifying, and accurately recording product shipments from suppliers. This includes submitting verified supplier packing lists for processing and stocking received items in the warehouse. You will also retrieve inventory items from the warehouse to fulfill sales orders, pack and process items using the company's computer system, and affix documentation and shipment tracking labels to cartons. Additionally, you will conduct periodic inventory checks of stock items and maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience packing products and processing shipments via small parcel carriers such as FedEx and UPS, as well as preparing pallets for freight shipments. We are willing to train the right candidate who is looking for a long-term career. This position requires physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs and strong attention to detail, along with effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate and work well with others.
