About The Position
Seeking a Warehouse Picker / Material Handler for a local logistics company. The Warehouse Picker / Material Handler works as part of a team to accurately select, move, and prepare products for customer delivery. This role involves handling bagged, cased, and unitized products and transporting them throughout the warehouse using carts and pallet jacks.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Must be able to stand for a full shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Push, pull, and steer rolling carts throughout the warehouse to select and load orders
- Accurately place products into carts for shipment
- Operate manual pallet jacks to transport palletized product within the warehouse and load trucks
- Operate electric “walkie” pallet jacks to move and stage product for delivery
- May use lift truck equipment as required
