Our pharm tech role works at our state-of-the-art new pharmacy distribution center in Madison, Wisconsin. Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Pharmacy Technician at our Madison Facility! Requirements

High school diploma or GED or equivalent preferred. If you don't have a National CPhT and/or registration/licensure, no problem. Candidates who are interested in learning and not yet registered as WI pharmacy technicians will receive on the job training and Lumicera will pay your initial registration fee. There is future opportunity for continued advancement via sponsored national certification program.

Nice To Haves

Minimum two years pharmacy support experience or healthcare environment experience preferred

Responsibilities

Responsible for answering the inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals
Responsible for contacting doctors to obtain necessary prescription information to properly fill a prescription
Responsible for managing the queues and working oldest orders first
Responsible for the correct shipment of the specialty pharmacy orders
May be responsible for ensuring adequate inventory of pharmaceuticals in the pharmacy, including ordering, receipt, verification of orders, and stocking of pharmaceuticals and supplies
The Employee will act in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws and with the highest ethical standards that we consistently strive to achieve. Thus, legal and ethical compliance is an essential duty of each employee
