About The Position

The Warehouse Person at Central Garden & Pet is responsible for picking outbound orders, preparing them for shipment, and performing various warehouse-related duties. Requirements

• Experience operating a pallet jack and standup forklift.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.

Responsibilities

• Pick outbound orders and prepare them for shipment.
• Pick production work orders as needed.
• Operate a pallet jack and standup forklift.
• Use RF hand-held or truck mount devices for inventory management.
• Lift and move products, occasionally up to 50 pounds and frequently 20-30 pounds.
• Maintain a constant state of alertness and work safely.
• Work on feet for long periods of time.
