This is a labor-intensive position responsible for hand building pallets of product for bulk and route trucks. The role requires strict attention to order accuracy when loading outgoing trucks and unloading incoming trucks. Employees will work from an electronic order system or order sheets to build loads using a forklift and/or electronic pallet jack. The position is responsible for accuracy in loading and complying with shipper/receiver documentation, following warehouse instructions for building loads, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The role may require working across a wide variety of weather conditions and hours, with shift duration depending on workload and varying daily. Specific duties include transport truck loading (moving full pallets, unloading raw materials), bulk truck loading (selecting packages and flavors, stacking, shrink-wrapping, loading onto trailers, unloading returns), and route truck loading (selecting customized products/pallets, loading into trucks, unloading returns). The position demands lifting a very high volume of cases of product (20-45 pounds per case) repeatedly during long work periods, and requires constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping as product is moved.
