This labor-intensive position is responsible for hand building pallets of product for bulk and route trucks. It requires strict attention to order accuracy for both loading outgoing trucks and unloading incoming trucks. The role involves working from an Electronic order system or order sheets to build loads using a forklift and/or electronic pallet jack, ensuring accuracy in loading and compliance with shipper/receiver documentation. The Warehouse Person must follow warehouse instructions for building loads and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Bulk truck loading entails selecting designated packages and flavors of products from the warehouse, loading them onto a pallet, and maintaining pallet stability through proper stacking and shrink-wrapping, often for local delivery. Route truck loading involves selecting customized packages, flavors, or pallets of products based on salesperson orders and loading them into the trucks. For both bulk and route loading, the position is responsible for unloading returned products and pallets/plastic flats.
