About The Position

This labor-intensive position is responsible for hand building pallets of product for bulk and route trucks. It requires strict attention to order accuracy for both loading outgoing trucks and unloading incoming trucks. The role involves working from an Electronic order system or order sheets to build loads using a forklift and/or electronic pallet jack, ensuring accuracy in loading and compliance with shipper/receiver documentation. The Warehouse Person must follow warehouse instructions for building loads and maintain a clean and safe work environment. The position may require working across a wide variety of weather conditions and hours, with shift duration depending on the workload and varying daily. Specific duties include transport truck loading, which involves moving full pallets of products from the warehouse onto a trailer and removing returned pallets/plastic flats, as well as unloading raw materials and placing them in designated warehouse space. Bulk truck loading entails selecting designated packages and flavors of products from the warehouse, loading them onto a pallet, and maintaining pallet stability through proper stacking and shrink-wrapping, often for local delivery.
