This labor-intensive position is responsible for hand building pallets of product for bulk and route trucks. It requires strict attention to order accuracy for loading outgoing trucks and unloading incoming trucks. The role involves working from an electronic order system or order sheets to build loads using a forklift and/or electronic pallet jack, ensuring accuracy in loading and compliance with shipper/receiver documentation. Employees must follow warehouse instructions, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and may be required to work across a wide variety of weather conditions and hours, with shift duration varying daily based on workload. Specific duties include transport truck loading (moving full pallets, removing returns, unloading raw materials), bulk truck loading (selecting products, building stable, shrink-wrapped pallets, unloading returns), and route truck loading (selecting customized products/pallets for specific salespersons' orders, unloading returns).
