About The Position

Petco is a category-defining health and wellness company focused on improving the lives of pets, pet parents, and Petco partners. We are 29,000 strong and operate 1,500+ pet care centers in the U.S., Mexico, and Puerto Rico, including 250+ Vetco Total Care hospitals, hundreds of preventive care clinics, and eight distribution centers. This position involves facilitating the timely and accurate preparation of merchandise to be shipped to the PETCO stores by receiving, moving, and stocking warehouse goods. The job is composed of several tasks that are generally routine in nature and are repeated several times during the course of the day. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires drug testing.

Requirements

• Equipment operator experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate forklift equipment.
• Ability to repetitively lift merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the timely and accurate preparation of merchandise to be shipped to the PETCO stores.
• Receive, move, and stock warehouse goods.
• Operate forklift equipment including pallet jacks, standup lifts, and turret trucks.
• Repetitively lift merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Use hand-held computer to scan merchandise bar codes.
• Operate computerized pick-module.
