About The Position

The Warehouse Packager for A-Gas is responsible for overseeing all production activities related to the packaging program. This role focuses on the safe and efficient operation of packaging processes to meet production targets, ensuring quality control and adherence to safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• DOT certification or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and clamps or ability to become certified within 60 days.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hand tools.
• Functional computer skills.
• EPA 608 Universal Certificate or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with compressed gas.
• Gas Cylinder experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment including process pumps, compressors, warehousing equipment, and forklifts.
• Communicate with logistics to ensure bulk and packaged deliveries meet customer requirements.
• Implement quality control measures and conduct inspections of work activities.
• Carry out checks of incoming products and materials, including site-generated AHRI and customer drums.
• Perform operational activities such as preparing, filling, picking, and dispatching cylinders.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental rules.
• Conduct preventive inspections of process and safety equipment.
• Maintain general housekeeping in the work area.
