Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• At least 1 year of Package Handling and Lead experience and/or training or equivalent combination of both.
• Ability to regularly lift, push, pull and/or move items averaging 50lbs and occasionally up to 75lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Supervise offloading and sorting incoming packages for distribution and/or prepare outgoing freight for delivery.
• Train sorters/package handlers to perform assigned tasks safely and accurately.
• Provide continual feedback to sorters, both positive and negative.
• Inspect packages to make sure they are safe for truck transportation.
