About The Position

Pepin Distributing Company’s team of Warehouse Order Selectors work in a fast-paced warehouse environment building orders on pallets to make sure our customers’ stores are fully stocked with our wide range of products. This is the start of an outstanding career in the beer industry for those who love to work in a warehouse environment and a great opportunity to develop a career in the beer industry while learning on the job. A number of our employees at Pepin started in this role and worked their way up in the company and you can too! Work Schedule : 5-day workweek; Sunday 9 AM to 1 PM; Monday – Thursday 11 AM – 10 PM (or when work is complete). Starting Pay : $18.00 - $24.00+ per hour (raises every 6 months) including training bonuses and uncapped commission pay. Top Performers : Within the first 1-2 years top performers can make over $65,000.

Requirements

Minimum of one (1) year of electric ride-on pallet jack experience
Regular and Punctual attendance per the Attendance Guidelines
Talk, hear, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus)
Continuous standing and walking during shift
Must be able to safely operate a pallet jack
Continuous lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling of various packages with weights up to 100 pounds

Nice To Haves

Prefer one (1) year of directly related warehouse experience
Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements

Responsibilities

Using electric pallet jack and Warehouse Management System to build loads.
Correctly hand stacking mixed pallets of product for sale to our customers.
Maintain clean, safe working environment always and adheres to strict safe working practices, Company policies, rules, regulations, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports to supervisor if not immediately correctable.
Report obvious vehicular equipment malfunctions or safety problems to supervisor immediately.
Other job duties as assigned.
