Requirements
- 1st Shift 7am-3:30pm
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures
- Knowledge of stock rotation procedures
- Ability to read and write legibly in English
- Ability to count accurately and do simple math
- Must be capable of standing, walking and climbing stairs for extended periods of time
- Must be capable of climbing, stooping and kneeling
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 80 lbs
- Ability to operate machinery
- Ability to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers
- Ability to pay attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously
- Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers in a courteous and professional manner
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- High school graduate or equivalent and excellent math skills
- Must be able to read and understand pick sheets.
- Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers and customers.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person.
- Ability to read and analyze data on a computer screen and in printed materials.
- Must be able to stand for long periods, to walk; mobility between warehouse and office to contact supervisors and co-workers when needed .
- Must be able to stoop, bend, and kneel to perform job duties.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 80 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in an operational environment, including exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and equipment movement when applicable.
- Must comply with all safety requirements, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) when in operational areas.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is shipped
- Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms
- Tag or mark orders as requested
- Repack orders when necessary
- Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage
- Stock product in pick slots
- Conduct physical inventories as required
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
- Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and complies with OSHA and MSDS Standards
- Meet company standards for productivity
- Is regular in attendance and complies with the Company Attendance Policy
- Operate powered lift trucks in performance of order selecting duties when required
- Conduct safety inspections on any equipment used
- Used of hand-held computers / scanners and voice-enabled computers
