About The Position

This position is for a Warehouse Order Selector at a Sysco warehouse, playing a critical role in the foodservice supply chain. Responsibilities include picking orders for delivery to foodservice venues in the local community. It is an active, physical role that involves operating an electric pallet jack and/or forklift, as well as organizing and palletizing products to build customer orders. The work environment is safe, but involves working in areas with temperature and humidity variations based on local weather conditions and the type of product being selected (non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen).

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• 0 – 1 Year relevant work experience
• Frequently lift product that weighs 10lb - 75lbs and up to 100lbs
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches
• Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, retrieving products from lower shelf areas
• Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer)
• Work on your feet for 10 – 12 hours daily

Nice To Haves

• 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift
• 1 year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience
• 1 year Selection Experience
• 2 years consistent work history preferred
