About The Position

As an Order Selector at our dairy facility, you'll be responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders to ensure timely delivery of our fresh dairy products. Your duties will include reading order tickets, locating and selecting products from the warehouse, and preparing them for shipment. You'll also ensure the inventory is organized and properly rotated to maintain product quality. Working closely with the warehouse and logistics teams, you'll play a critical role in maintaining efficiency and accuracy in our order fulfillment process. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be essential in delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to follow recipes, measurements, and instructions accurately.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy objects.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Select orders – By using printed pick list, select and pull milk crates to required quantities to send to the palletizer and wrap machine. (Heavy Lifting)
  • Use forklift to load trailers with product.
  • Ability to record correct information relating to trailer numbers and correct store information on bill of lading.
  • Follow and maintain 5S and housekeeping standards for work areas.
  • Operate automated pallet wrapper.
  • Complete required paperwork and iPad (Safety Chain) documentation as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
  • Split days off, must be able to work on Saturdays
