About The Position
As a Warehouse Generalist, you will fill in for any position in the warehouse including, but not limited to: Selector, Dock Worker, Palletizer, etc. You will contribute by performing duties of a Warehouse Worker, utilizing Order Picker to pick products to fill customer orders or bringing down pallets of reserve stock to replenish pick slots. You will manually pick cases of product from warehouse racks to fill customer orders, building pallets of products picked to fill the orders, and recording daily actions by use of Voice-command, pick sheets, and Power-warehouse. You will also fit products on a pallet, ensuring heavy products are on the bottom to reduce damage, plastic wrapping them, and loading them onto a trailer. Additionally, you may operate an electric pallet jack to load pallets of products onto delivery trucks and compile un-palletized products onto pallets. Other duties include performing as a Warehouse Clerk, Forklift Operator, Selector, Backhauler, and Porter, as well as maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse and assisting in other departments based on business needs.
