1st Shift Warehouse Order Selector/ Cherry Picker Operator
About The Position
Supports Operations by moving materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility with a variety of powered industrial equipment. Scheduled Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (Monday - Friday) some overtime required. Cherry Picker experience preferred Essential Job Functions Operates a variety of powered, industrial equipment Loads and unloads trucks Ability to use a hand scanner Picks-up incoming materials from the Receiving dock Unloads and puts away stock in the Bulk storage area Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner Pulls and stocks correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations Transfers finished products to designated areas Stacks empty skids and pallets in designated areas Operates a manual and/or motorized pallet jack Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manger This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Competencies - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Material handling experience is strongly preferred. Forklift Certification required. Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus. Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel. Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.
