About The Position

The Warehouse Order Picker at Performance Foodservice is responsible for selecting and preparing food and non-food products for customer orders in a multi-level rack warehouse environment. This role involves operating pallet jacks and forklifts to transport items, ensuring safety and quality standards are met while maintaining productivity. Requirements

• Must be able to work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Capable of lifting, stacking, and pulling products weighing between 10-90 pounds.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Select cases and containers of food and non-food products to fill customer orders.
• Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts to transport completed orders to the loading dock.
• Follow safety policies and procedures as per company guidelines.
• Review work schedules and prepare for operations by obtaining necessary supplies.
• Perform safety checks on equipment and ensure all safety devices are functioning properly.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards as required by the location and company guidelines.
• Manually place stock items on pallets from pick slots and racks as required.
• Shrink-wrap pallets for staging as needed.
• Complete vehicle inspection checklists and secure equipment at the end of the shift.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
