About The Position

We are currently hiring for the Order Picker position on the 1st shift. for our Jackson, TN location, starting at $18.50/hour. Hours for the 1st Shift are Monday - Friday Hours 6:00 am - 2:30 with opportunities for overtime pay. Requirements

Prior RF scanner experience picking orders required.
Must prioritize work to business needs and adapt to changing work environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be easily trainable and a quick learner.
Self-started and ability to work independently
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to understand written and/or oral instructions.
Ability to concentrate for long periods
Ability to remain flexible to change; willing to move around to other areas
Ability to work overtime as needed
Manually lift, push-pull, and/or carry merchandise by hand
Ability to stand and work on concrete floor for extended periods
Ability to work extended work hours as needed or during peak weeks
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently
Maintain attendance according to company policy.
High school diploma or G.E.D.
6 months or more related experience and/or training
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

Operates RF scanners to read barcodes, process merchandise, and palletizing
Reads pick tickets and match alpha numeric sku numbers with description written on ticket
Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pull materials; pack boxes; palletize and place orders in delivery area
Manually loads, unloads, sorts, and stages product throughout the warehouse
Efficiently operate a manual pull or battery-powered pallet-jack
Uses computer to look up items, print tickets or shipping labels
Accurately completes all paperwork as needed
Maintains an organized, clean and safe work environment, including picking up trash and reporting all safety hazards and incidents to proper personnel
Works harmoniously and cooperatively with others
Follows all Company and OSHA safety guidelines
Maintain attendance according to company policies
Performs other duties as assigned
