Responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, storing, and staging inventory according to purchase orders, production schedules, and shipping schedules.
Receive in materials as they are delivered from vendors.
Stage WIP and raw materials for production according to the planned production schedule.
Shrink wrap and assign storage locations to WIP and finished goods as they are palletized and ready for storage.
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move items to and from storage.
Load product and transport product to offsite warehouse for storage.
Load finished products for shipping to our customer according to shipping schedule.
Ensure that all palletized product is packaged neatly on the pallet and in pristine condition before loading onto the truck.
Maintain warehouse requirements safely and efficiently.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Report all accidents or near misses.
Adhere to all environmental and quality standards.
Perform other related duties as necessary.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Working knowledge of warehouse operations required.
Forklift experience required.
Drivers license required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Professional and optimistic attitude, ability to work in a team environment.
Must be able to drive a forklift and box truck (CDL not required).
