The Warehouse Operator works in a warehouse focusing on chemical handling, safety, and operating a forklift. REPORTS TO: Fort Wayne Operations Supervisor RESPONSIBILITIES Driving Capability Safety Operating forklift to load/unload trucks Using Inventory Management System Barcoding Picking, Staging, and Loading Freight Boxes Shipping/receiving and all other assigned duties Updating and following procedures Audits Following, improving, and updating work instructions Reporting and having an active role in the continual improvement process Proper use of safety equipment and safety showers Proper use of Trackabout Following, improving, and updating work instructions Reporting and being an active part of the continual improvement process Audits Following safety procedures Working outdoors in varying weather conditions daily/ year round Check in with Supervisor/Lead before punching out daily for any final assignments All other duties assigned as needed
