About The Position

The Warehouse operator receives finished goods from site operations and prepares them for shipment, ensuring safety and standard operating procedures are followed. Unloads inbound freight, verifies, labels, and stages safely following operating procedures Receives, labels, and store all inbound raw materials. Preforms daily cycle counts and daily material moves supporting operations.

Requirements

  • Must be able to read, understand, and speak in English.
  • Must be able to perform arithmetic operations quickly and accurately.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Anything greater than 50 lbs., must use material assistance/equipment.
  • Have basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Able to stand for 8 hours, or more.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work irregular shifts (overtime?) to cover department demands as required.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) and background

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years shipping/receiving experience in a warehouse
  • SAP experience
  • MES experience
  • 5S experience
  • Microsoft Office skills, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all governmental and company EHS requirements.
  • Follow site policy and procedures, including all pertaining standard of operating procedures (SOPs_ and job safety analysis (JSA)s.
  • Safely operate various shipping/receiving and warehouse equipment (forklift, shrink wrap, drum picker, pallet jacks, vacuum, cordstrap ergostrap, and other related equipment).
  • Responsible for timely and accurate SAP transactions relating to shipments (Goods receipt, cycle counts, and returns).
  • Responsible for communicating any challenges, issues, delays and work to solve them by including the right people (Supervisor, Warehouse supervisor, and Planning/Logistics leader.
  • Responsible for maintaining a positive workplace environment including but not limited to openness and implementation of process improvement, change, and RCCAs.
  • Responsible for GR receipts.
  • Responsible for cycle counts.
  • Responsible for transferring material from warehouse to operations.
  • Racking of materials in the warehouse (FG and raw materials).
  • Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Attend and participate in EHS, Quality, and various meetings and activities.
  • Maintain DOT and Hazardous material trained status.
  • Complete assigned training.
  • Perform other assigned tasks, as directed.
