About The Position

The Warehouse Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring timely fulfillment or orders, and supporting the overall efficiency of our warehouse operations.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in inventory management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, parts pulling, or a related field.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret part numbers and specifications.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations in warehouse setting.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using inventory management software.

Responsibilities

  • Parts Pulling Efficiently and accurately pull parts from inventory based on work orders or pick lists.
  • Verify part numbers, quantities, and specifications to ensure accuracy in the parts-pulling process.
  • Collaborate with other departments to fulfill specific project or production requirements.
  • Traveler; ASME Certifications Inventory Management Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing incoming inventory.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in reconciling any discrepancies.
  • Communicate inventory levels and stock needs to the Warehouse Lead or Warehouse Manager.
  • Order Fulfillment Work closely with production and assembly teams to fulfill parts requirements for manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with the shipping departments to ensure timely and accurate order shipments, and loading 02 finished goods.
  • Assist in preparing parts for outbound shipments, including packaging and labeling.
  • Documentation Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory movements, parts pulled, and order fulfillments.
  • Generate and update reports as required by the Warehouse Lead and Warehouse Manager.
  • Quality Control Inspect pulled parts for quality and accuracy before releasing them for production or shipment.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues to the Warehouse Lead or Warehouse Manager for resolution.
  • Organization and Cleanliness Keep the parts storage area clean, organized, and in compliance with safety standards.
  • Implement and follow 5S principles to optimize the efficiency of the parts- pulling process.
  • Communication Communicate effectively with the Warehouse Lead, Warehouse Manager, and other team members.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to address any issues related to parts availability or inventory discrepancies.
  • Specific Tasks for Position Pull raw materials and controlled items for individual unit builds.
  • Stage packed in bins assemblies in “Holding Area” awaiting release to Production personnel.
  • Receive all raw materials and items into inventory.
  • Use of company software to perform day-to-day tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
