About The Position

As a Warehouse Associate at Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in supporting efficient warehouse and distribution operations by ensuring steel tube and pipe products are accurately picked, packed, and shipped in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to operate standard warehouse equipment, while offering the opportunity to directly impact customer satisfaction and on-time delivery performance. You will collaborate with warehouse team members, shipping and receiving personnel, and internal stakeholders to ensure materials move safely, accurately, and efficiently through the facility. This is a full-time, onsite role located at our Auburn, WA facility. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in steel, tubing, or a related industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks, and warehouse scanning systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, effective communication, problem-solving ability, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work full-time onsite with regular attendance and safely perform physical warehouse duties.

Responsibilities

  • Champion and enforce safe work practices in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare materials, products, and equipment for distribution and shipment to support timely order fulfillment.
  • Process and fulfill orders for customers and internal teams, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Pick, pack, scan, and stage orders using warehouse scanning tools to verify order accuracy.
  • Load shipments onto flatbed trucks or LTL carriers in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials, reporting damages or discrepancies as required.
  • Replenish warehouse stock and rotate inventory using reach trucks or forklifts to maintain availability.
  • Operate forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and walkie rider pallet jacks to move materials efficiently throughout the warehouse.
  • Standardize and optimize shipping and receiving procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
