The Warehouse Operator position involves moving materials to and from the production department, managing finished product flow, transporting held ware, and inspecting/packaging products for shipment. The role requires adherence to safety rules, GMP policies, and quality management system requirements.

Requirements

  • Maintain valid forklift certification.
  • Lift boxes from floor level to approximately 5 feet high.
  • Consistently lift boxes weighing up to 35 lbs.
  • Distinguish slight variations in color.
  • Work overtime as required.
  • Wear required protective clothing, including hair net, uniform, steel‑toe shoes, gloves, short‑sleeved shirt, and earplugs.

Responsibilities

  • Move all materials to and from the production department.
  • Manage finished product flow from production, including the EBM pack‑out and NETSTAGE areas.
  • Transport held ware from bays to sorting areas and return sorted product to bays.
  • Complete daily forklift inspections, including battery changes.
  • Inspect and properly package product for shipment to customers.
  • Communicate and collaborate with employees in a positive, constructive manner to support department and plant goals.
  • Promote a safe work environment by following all plant safety rules and reporting violations or unsafe practices to management.
  • Follow GMP policies, product safety requirements, and daily cleaning procedures.
  • Adhere to ISO and Quality Management System requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure production activities comply with all applicable regulations.
  • Maintain accurate carton and skid counts for each assigned machine.
  • Accurately complete labels and required paperwork.
  • Move skids of finished product using a pallet jack.
  • Correctly sort held ware.
  • Follow all GMP procedures.
  • Work safely and follow all safety rules and procedures.
  • Identify and report violations or unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel.
  • Follow all department procedures and directives.
