About The Position

The Warehouse Operator must possess the desire and ability to manage warehouse inventory. As a member of the Jerome team, the Warehouse Worker will be a partner in the Supply Chain Division. The Warehouse operator role involves moving and managing warehouse inventory. What You Will Do · Inventory Tracking and Reconciliation. · Organization of Storage Area. · Maintenance of Sanitation in the Work Area. · Inspection, Quality Assurance. · Transferring of finished goods, packaging, materials, and ingredients. · Ensuring accurate and timely counts and reporting. What You Bring: · Must be able to read and follow directions of load sheets, schematics, product labels, and have numerical ability. · Safe Operation of a forklift. · Safe Load/Unload of semi-trailers. · Accurate/Timely receiving and inventory management practices; use and tracking through scan guns, pallet tags, pick lists, packing slips, BOLs, computer entry into Oracle and Access Lot Tracking database. · Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision and perform multiple tasks. · Knowledge of shipping/receiving/inventory control. · Experience with forklifts (certified preferred). · Ability to move 60 pounds repeatedly. · Willing to work nights/weekends/holidays (if necessary). · Able to primarily stand and walk throughout an 8-hour shift. · Strong written and verbal communication. · Basic Math skills. · Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Office) preferred. · Ability to meet all warehouse performance standards. · Ability to meet attendance and punctuality standards. · Ability to learn rapidly and perform multiple tasks. Nice to Have's · Prior warehouse experience preferred. · Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
