The Warehouse Operator role supports the RFMW Warehouse and is accountable for a variety of tasks and key job responsibilities within an assigned job function/area including: Receiving, Picking and Shipping. The role is also accountable for meeting and exceeding company-wide expectations in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, attendance, attitude/teamwork, and may be cross trained in the other areas of Operations as needed. ACCOUNTABILITIES The following summarizes the key job accountabilities to be performed by the Warehouse Operator in the respective assigned job function/area: Receiving: Review product for; accuracy to purchase order, i.e., mfg. C of C, part number, quantity, format, and inspects for damage. Record lot/date codes on manufacturers packing slip and compare product attributes to packing slips. Picking: Select appropriate product identified on the pick slip, accurately counts parts, carefully verifying part numbers, quantities, format, and recording of lot/date codes on pick slips. Pack product, with appropriate packaging, for shipment. Generate barcode. Shipping: Ship product through the RFMW system after product part number counts have been verified. Stocking: Manage stock, inventory control, and associated records. Rotates parts to ensure “first in first out” where appropriate. Perform daily cycle counts as required. RFMW Distribution: Verify supplier part number, quantity, lot code on packing slip; sort and place materials or items on racks; verifies part numbers, quantities, and then packages according to customer purchase order requirements; stage packages in designated area for daily carrier pick-up. Ensure RFMW meets or exceeds internal and external customer expectations for quality, cost, and on-time delivery within the areas of assigned responsibility. Meets and exceeds established quality goals in relation to errors measured as “parts per million” produced and productivity goals as defined by Management. Actively participates in job qualification audits and strictly adheres to all established standard operating procedures. Maintain acceptable time and attendance based on RFMW policies defined by Human Resources and Operations. Demonstrate a positive “team” oriented attitude and approach toward all work assignments. Contribute to the ongoing success of the entire Operations team by willingly accepting and embracing “other tasks and duties as assigned” along with willingness to help the department as a whole. Other measurements of attitude/teamwork include, but are not limited to, effectiveness in working with co-workers, ability to work overtime, sense of urgency within the department, ability to work unsupervised, overall flexibility, and positive attitude focused on delivery of desired results for TTI. Ensure a safe working environment for self and others by adhering to established safe operating expectations and by following established housekeeping requirements. Notifies management of any observed safety hazards. Perform FOD (foreign object detection) and location maintenance to ensure 5S standards are maintained. Actively cross-trains in other areas, as required, outside of primary job function. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. Three (3) years' experience in warehouse/distribution experience (i.e. receiving, picking, shipping) preferred. International shipping experience preferred.
