Requirements

  • GED or High School Diploma is preferred.
  • Direct or related experience of 1 year is highly preferred.
  • Must be able to operate forklifts, pallet jacks (manual/electric.)

Responsibilities

  • Pick and pull customer orders in correct sequence using warehouse management systems and proper code date procedures.
  • Receive and unload incoming product from suppliers and production facilities; verify quantity, item numbers, and load IDs; create load ID numbers and scan pallet labels in the warehouse system.
  • Assign and organize inventory to appropriate storage locations while maintaining proper product rotation by date and code for quality assurance.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation of all product movement within the warehouse, ensuring proper record keeping and filing procedures.
  • Communicate proactively with Warehouse Supervisor/Lead/Senior regarding any issues that may impact load schedules, customer satisfaction, or operational productivity.
  • Report mechanical malfunctions and identify opportunities for operator involvement in resolving equipment concerns to improve productivity.
