For more information, visit www.griffithfoods.com . TITLE: Warehouse Operator LOCATION: Avon, OH Onsite SHIFT & HOURS: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (Saturdays as Needed) Hiring Hourly Rate: $19.50/Hr. Custom Culinary, a subsidiary of Griffith Foods, is hiring a Warehouse Operator play a key role in maintaining efficient and accurate warehouse operations. Responsibilities include safely unloading trucks using industrial powered equipment, properly storing raw materials, issuing materials to the operations team and reconciling materials to put them away, and conducting routine cycle counts of storage locations and individual items. This role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

Requirements

High school education or GED and six month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong critical‑thinking skills by recognizing issues.
Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
Strong teamwork and reliability.
Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Redzone, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft D365 ERP software.
Holds or has the ability to obtain a valid forklift certification to safely operate powered industrial equipment.
High School Diploma or GED (required).
Minimum 6 months of Warehouse Operations
Ability to perform cycle counts, stock rotation (FIFO), and manage lot codes
Must be willing and able to work onsite in Avon, OH, Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Must currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship available).

Nice To Haves

Certified operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
Understanding of load limits, stacking procedures, and safety protocols.
Experience in food manufacturing or a related industry.

Responsibilities

Support audit requirements and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Ability to read and interpret picking lists to accurately pick, organize, and issue raw materials.
Ability to use powered industrial equipment such as but not limited to electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and aerial lifts.
Ability to use the Microsoft D365 ERP system to perform tasks including, but not limited to, stock transfers, item lookups, and cycle counts.
Ability to conduct cycle counts and inventory control best practices.
Ability to correctly identify and label raw materials based on vendor batch information.
Participation in fiscal year-end inventory.
Ability to read and understand Purchase Orders, Bills of Lading, Pack Slips, and verify incoming materials while unloading shipments while following safety and quality best practices.
Prepares outbound shipments of raw materials to co-manufacturers and other Griffith Business units when needed.
Ability to handle and lift items to 65 pounds.
Other warehouse duties as directed.
