Our materials are known for their durability, low maintenance, and resistance to scratches and stains, making them a top choice for builders, designers, contractors, and homeowners. With our 6,000–10,000 square foot showroom and warehouse in Imperial Valley, Houston, we are expanding our operations and seeking a skilled Warehouse Operator to support material handling, inventory, and logistics for a fast-growing business. Position Summary The Warehouse Operator is responsible for receiving, storing, and moving stone slabs, quartz, and other materials safely and efficiently. The role requires forklift operation, material handling, and close coordination with the showroom, sales, and delivery teams. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and capable of performing physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred
  • Forklift certification and demonstrated proficiency in operation
  • Experience handling heavy materials, construction products, or stone preferred
  • Work in physically demanding conditions
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills
  • Reliability and punctuality in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Capable of lifting to 75 lbs. and pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs.
  • Able to stoop, kneel, crawl, and work in non-climate-controlled environments.
  • Ability to climb stairs and maintain balance on various surfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Warehouse Operations Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
  • Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming shipments
  • Handle, store, and transport heavy stone slabs and materials with care
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock organization
  • Assist in loading and preparing customer orders for delivery
  • Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
  • Inventory & Quality Control Track inventory levels and report discrepancies
  • Inspect materials for damage or defects and report to management
  • Rotate stock to ensure proper material usage
  • Collaborate with sales and showroom staff to locate and stage materials for projects
  • Safety & Team Support Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
  • Report on unsafe conditions or practices immediately
  • Assist team members with manual handling tasks when needed
  • Support showroom or delivery teams as required
