About The Position

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including receiving, material handling, inventory movement, staging of materials for production and inventory control. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring material availability for manufacturing, and sustaining a safe, organized warehouse environment. The Warehouse Operator works closely with warehouse leadership, production teams, and logistics partners to support efficient material flow throughout the facility.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of warehouse, logistics, or material-handling experience (manufacturing environment preferred).
  • Forklift experience required; forklift certification preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
  • Basic computer skills (ERP systems, Excel, data entry).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent standing, walking, and bending.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial production workflows preferred.
  • Knowledge of inventory control processes (receiving, cycle counts, stock rotation) preferred.
  • Exposure to 5S and continuous improvement practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and components.
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Move and store materials in designated warehouse locations according to inventory procedures.
  • Pick, stage, and prepare materials for production and outbound shipments.
  • Perform accurate data entry for inventory transactions in ERP/WMS systems.
  • Assist with cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and variance resolution.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
  • Conduct daily equipment and area inspections to ensure readiness and safety compliance.
  • Follow all company safety policies, mandatory PPE requirements, and operational guidelines.
  • Participate in 5S, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support cross-functional tasks and provide assistance to production as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
