About The Position

The Spotter driver supports docking and moving containers and trailers to support production and warehouse management. The driver communicates and cooperates with trucking and warehousing members for materials to be unloaded properly. The Spotter will also operate a fork truck and other warehouse equipment to support all duties as assigned by manager. The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday (6:48AM- 3PM).

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license.
Frequent standing, lifting (up to 35 lbs.), pushing/pulling (≥50 lbs.), and equipment operation.
Occasional walking, carrying, and climbing.
Constant sitting during equipment operation.
Ability to work in a warehouse environment that is not climate controlled.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a yard dog to position containers and trailers at docks.
Support warehouse and production needs to achieve on-time docking.
Coordinate effectively with drivers, trucking, and container personnel.
Follow all SOPs and maintain quality, safety, and inventory (JIT/JIS) standards.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as assigned.
Adapt to changing work demands and support continuous improvement.
Communicate effectively and contribute to a positive team environment.
Comply with company policies, safety standards, certifications (IATF 1649, ISO 14001, OHSAS 45001), and 5S practices.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
