About The Position
As a Warehouse Operator III (Forklift Driver) at BIC Corporation, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations. This position is responsible for operating various types of equipment, including forklifts and RF scanners, to perform essential warehouse functions such as consolidation, replenishment, pallet picking, put away, and other production, shipping, inventory, and receiving-related tasks. You will work under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor and be expected to adhere to all safety protocols and company policies. This is a second shift position from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with potential for overtime and weekend work. In this role, you will be required to understand and follow system-designated directions via RF equipment to ensure accurate selection and movement of products. You will utilize RF equipment for the accurate and damage-free movement of pallets and cases from reserve and forward pick locations, in accordance with production standards. Your responsibilities will also include accurately scanning pallets to the correct warehouse location, identifying and locating products, pulling and assembling orders for shipment, and unloading incoming materials from trucks. Additionally, you will provide feedback to the warehouse supervisor regarding warehouse operations and recommend measures for improvement. Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment is essential, as is assisting in the training of new employees. You will be expected to adhere to all warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and perform any other duties as assigned.
