About The Position

InvaGen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operator II to join our team in Hauppauge, NY. This full-time position involves various responsibilities related to the inspection, receipt, and handling of pharmaceutical products within a warehouse setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehousing, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry, and will be committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent experience).
  • Two (2) to five (5) years minimum of direct work experience in warehousing.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in pharmaceutical warehousing.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
  • Must have legible handwriting and the ability to perform accurate documentation.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Must be able to count accurately and have good basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
  • Must be organized, capable of following instructions, and can coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must have the physical ability, coordination, skills, and judgment necessary to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks safely and without damage to materials, equipment, or facilities.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds, in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect carriers/trailers of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Escort drivers always when in the facility.
  • Receive and unload freight, check for damaged goods, verify items and quantities received with BOL, Packing List, PO, etc.
  • Move materials as required for sampling, inspection, status label changes, etc.
  • Move materials from Quarantine to Released or Rejected areas as directed by Warehouse Management.
  • Perform dispensing activities for Packaging and Raw materials.
  • Pick materials from Released inventory following GMP rules as required per production schedule, pick list, or production record requirement.
  • Make the necessary documentation entries.
  • Deliver materials to specified locations in the warehouse.
  • Load outbound freight as specified in BOL’s after confirming material or production descriptions, lot numbers, count and quantities.
  • Perform inventory counts as required.
  • Maintain assigned areas in a clean and orderly state.
  • Perform minor and spot cleaning as required.
  • Verify documentation and reports for accuracy.
  • Comply with all aspects of quality management system, cGMP policies, documentation and record keeping in accordance with industry and FDA standards and Safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Other duties assigned as required by Warehouse Management.
