InvaGen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operator II/III for its Central Islip or Hauppauge, NY locations. This full-time position requires the ability to work any assigned shift, which may include first, second, or third shifts, and could be scheduled from Monday to Friday, Tuesday to Saturday, or a combination based on business needs. The role involves various responsibilities related to the inspection, receiving, unloading, and documentation of shipments, as well as maintaining cleanliness and compliance with quality management systems.

  • Inspect carriers/trailers of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Escort drivers always when in the facility.
  • Receive and unload freight, check for damaged goods, verify items and quantities received with BOL, Packing List, PO, etc.
  • Move materials as required for sampling, inspection, status label changes, etc.
  • Move materials from Quarantine to Released or Rejected areas as directed by Warehouse Management.
  • Perform dispensing activities for Packaging and Raw materials.
  • Pick materials from Released inventory following GMP rules as required per production schedule, pick list, or production record requirement.
  • Make the necessary documentation entries.
  • Deliver materials to specified locations in the warehouse.
  • Load outbound freight as specified in BOL’s after confirming material or production descriptions, lot numbers, count and quantities.
  • Perform inventory counts as required.
  • Maintain assigned areas in a clean and orderly state. Perform minor and spot cleaning as required.
  • Verify documentation and reports for accuracy.
  • Comply with all aspects of quality management system, cGMP policies, documentation and record keeping in accordance with industry and FDA standards and Safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Other duties assigned as required by Warehouse Management.
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent experience).
  • Two (2) to five (5) years minimum of direct work experience in warehousing.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in pharmaceutical warehousing.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
  • Legible handwriting and the ability to perform accurate documentation.
  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Good basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
  • Organized, capable of following instructions, and can coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Physical ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a safe manner.
