NOTICE: The posting for local applicants only - is not for those applying for a global assignment and/or for employees working outside of Cipla's U.S. Subsidiaries or Affiliates Job Title Warehouse Operator II Location Central Islip or Hauppauge, NY locations Employment Type Full Time Hourly Range $22.00- $26.00 Work Hours / Shift 7:00 am – 3:30 pm 1 st Shift Job Responsibilities Help with the Inspection of carriers/trailers of inbound and outbound shipments. Escorts drivers when in the facility. Help with the receipt and unloads freight, check for damaged goods, verify items and quantities received with BOL, Packing List, PO, etc. Moves materials as required for sampling, inspection, status label changes, etc. Assist with the move of materials from Quarantine to Released or Rejected areas as directed by Warehouse Management. Assist in dispensing activities for Packaging and Raw materials. Picks materials from Released inventory following GMP rules as required per production schedule, pick list, or production record requirement. Completes necessary documentation entries. Delivers materials to specified locations in the warehouse. Maintains assigned areas in a clean and orderly state. Performs minor and spot cleaning as required. Complies with all aspects of quality management system, cGMP policies, documentation and record keeping in accordance with industry and FDA standards and Safety and sanitation regulations. Other duties assigned as required by Warehouse Management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or equivalent experience)
• Two (2) to three (3) years of direct work experience in warehousing.
• Forklift experience or ability to obtain certification.
• Must have legible hand writing, and the ability to perform accurate documentation.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must be organized, capable of following instructions, and can coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be willing to work in a generic pharmaceutical warehouse setting.
• Must have the physical ability, coordination, skills, and judgment necessary to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks safely and without damage to materials, equipment, or facilities.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in pharmaceutical warehousing.
