About The Position
As a Warehouse Operator II (High-Reach Forklift Driver) at BIC Corporation, you will play a crucial role in the supply chain operations at our Charlotte facility. This position requires you to operate various types of equipment, including RF scanners and high-reach forklifts, to perform essential duties related to the receiving, processing, and shipping of products. You will be responsible for ensuring that inbound shipments are handled efficiently, which includes downloading shipments, managing receiving paperwork, and communicating with corporate regarding scheduling and receiving issues. Your role will also involve pallet pulling, put away, and other production, shipping, inventory, and receiving functions under the guidance of the Receiving Supervisor and Lead. This position operates on the second shift, with a schedule from 2:15 PM to 10:15 PM, and may require overtime until 12:15 AM. You will be expected to ensure that products are shipped out of the distribution center in a timely manner, stack pallets appropriately, lift products onto pallets, and use material handling equipment safely. Additionally, you will process, wrap, and label pallets at the shipping prep station and ensure that items are moved to the correct locations if they are sent down the wrong chute or cannot be read by the scanner. Understanding the UPS labeling area processes will also be part of your responsibilities, including loading loose items and managing special orders.
