The Warehouse Operator II is responsible for the accurate processing of materials in a warehouse setting, including receiving, put away, and shipping tasks. This role involves training new Warehouse Operators I and ensuring compliance with safety, security, and productivity standards. The position requires flexibility in working hours, as shifts can vary between 8 to 12 hours based on operational needs.

  • Accurately process materials including receiving, put away, and shipping.
  • Train new Warehouse Operators I on best practices.
  • Prepare orders for shipping by picking, scanning, and packing in a timely manner.
  • Receive products from manufacturers and record pertinent information accurately.
  • Perform replenishment activities efficiently and compare product descriptions to requests.
  • Stack and store materials in designated areas.
  • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory as required.
  • Process returns from customers and classify products accordingly.
  • Prepare debit memos for vendors.
  • Operate hand lift and be certified in power forklift operation.
  • Load and unload freight trucks.
  • Maintain tidiness and cleanliness in the warehouse.
  • Be flexible and willing to work overtime when necessary.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year of warehouse work experience.
  • Pharmaceutical distribution experience and/or experience with perishable goods distribution.
  • Specialized knowledge of warehouse plans, methods, procedures, and techniques of material handling.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic mathematical computations and applications.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and promptness in completing assignments.
