About the position

In this role, you will independently operate and maintain at least one process, equipment, or system following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards. Your technical skills will be essential in improving line and/or system performance to meet business needs. You will be a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks, operating and maintaining equipment to deliver on our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and morale targets. You will execute all standard work processes on your equipment using AM and PM (progressive maintenance) standards, ensuring that safety processes are observed and quality assurance activities are performed. Understanding the losses in your area and equipment and reporting them will also be part of your responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Independently operate and maintain equipment following AM standards.
- Use technical skills to improve line and/or system performance.
- Execute all standard work processes on equipment using AM and PM standards.
- Ensure safety processes are observed and quality assurance activities are performed.
- Understand and report losses in the area and equipment.
Requirements
- Experience in operating machines with coaching.
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards for operating machines.
- Ability to read and write, and fluently converse in the language of communication appropriate to the site.
- Ability to collaborate well in a diverse work environment.
