Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Some relatable work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Basic PC skills. Operate SAP and WMS systems, and retrieve pull slips for pull ticket runs.
  • RF scanner proficiency; ability to move, crate, and audit material with scanner.
  • Understand basic shipping regulations and where to find shipping information.
  • Operates both powered and manual material handling equipment in a safe manner.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Written and oral communication skills.
  • Time management skills.
  • Detail oriented to make sure paperwork is accurate.
  • Operating powered industrial trucks.
  • Solid work experience for at least 3 years with progression (no unexplainable gaps).

Responsibilities

  • Receive and put away all incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and returned goods.
  • Unload trailers using power equipment, verify freight, and sign the bill of lading.
  • Sort, inspect, and receive items in the appropriate system (e.g., SAP).
  • Put products away using a scanner or computer system.
  • Resolve product issues with Procurement.
  • Schedule dock appointments with carriers.
  • Pack items for shipment to customers.
  • Check chemicals against order documentation, including catalog number, lot number, special requests, unit size, and weights.
  • Pack materials following established procedures and comply with hazard regulations.
  • Apply all required labels and markings to boxes to comply with hazardous materials regulations.
  • Fulfill internal supply orders and maintain a record of orders.
  • Accurately select and stage products using power equipment.
