About The Position

The Warehouse Operator for the 2nd Shift at DSV is responsible for creating, coordinating, and completing shipments of goods between the company and clients. This role involves processing orders, ensuring shipment schedules are met, and may include developing operational reports. The operator will act as a point of contact for customer service, ensuring the accuracy and delivery of transactions for clients. The position requires unloading inbound shipments, staging, stacking, and loading merchandise, as well as performing forklift activities and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Must have forklift experience.
• Basic mathematical skills to verify inventory and order accuracy.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• High level of customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in customer service and logistics.
• Material Handling Certification.
• Dangerous Goods Qualification.
• Forklift Operation and Certification.
• Some experience with Warehouse Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily activities for an assigned shift or within an assigned area or function.
• Adhere to specific warehouse work instructions for receiving, labeling, storing, shipping, and value-added services.
• Meet company objectives in performance, safety, quality, leadership, and customer service.
• Work with supervisors and teams to identify areas for service improvement.
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to the correct destination.
• Stage, stack, and load merchandise efficiently.
• Verify driver, trailer, and bills for specific carriers and locations.
• Perform all forklift activities as required.
• Maintain an organized and orderly desk/office area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
