About The Position

The Warehouse Operator 2 is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy of parts within the warehouse, directly interacting with both internal and external management at Quanta. This role involves researching inventory discrepancies, driving process improvements, and ensuring proper transaction of parts in the SAP system. The operator will also perform stocking functions, support production requirements, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in a warehouse setting.
• At least 1 year of inventory-control related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Basic knowledge of SAP.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and self-motivated.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of electronics is preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to change direction frequently with little notice.

Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy of cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Pick and kit high-value parts for orders.
• Schedule the receiving and delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
• Execute inventory transactions in the SAP system.
• Complete documentation regarding goods received, noting shortages and damages.
• Identify root causes of inventory variances and drive process improvements.
• Instruct and train personnel in proper procedures.
• Prepare and execute physical inventories for the area.
• Communicate professionally with management and customer contacts regarding parts and shipments.
• Coordinate with offsite personnel for cycle counts and inventory as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform unloading and delivery tasks using a forklift.
