To ready orders for shipment according to proper procedure and customer specifications. The role involves receiving packing orders and packing products by ensuring the correct packing configuration, correct labels, correct documentation, and correct container/carton have been applied/used per customer specifications. Responsibilities include verifying product specifications match customer requests on can and box labels, marking and labeling hazardous material boxes per regulations, recording packing logs, assisting in the operation of the case packer, maintaining a safe and clean work area, loading and unloading trucks, and participating in Health & Safety, Security, and Environmental activities.

  • Receives packing orders and packs product according to specifications.
  • Verify product specifications match customer requests on can and box labels.
  • Mark and label hazardous material boxes per DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulations.
  • Record packing logs for number of orders and box counts.
  • Assist in the operation of the case packer by loading gallon cans on the conveyor.
  • Maintain safe and clean work area using personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Load and unload trucks as needed.
  • Consolidate and organize warehouses and outside storage areas.
  • Participate in Health & Safety, Security, and Environmental activities.
  • Follow operating procedures for proper inventory, handling, and staging of material.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Work involves standing or walking most of the shift.
  • Ability to lift 55 lbs; ability to push/pull 55-gallon drums weighing up to 600 lbs.
  • Capable of wearing breathing apparatus (respirator).
