About The Position

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for performing general stocking labor, including moving freight, stock, and other materials within the warehouse. The position involves working in a cold environment and ensuring the safety and quality of products according to company procedures.

Requirements

• Forklift Certification
• High school diploma or GED
• Pallet Jack Certification
• 1-year previous experience in a warehouse environment strongly preferred
• Good communication skills
• Attention to details
• Ability to use warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and pallet wrappers.

• Ability to train and mentor Warehouse Operators

Responsibilities

• Determines work schedule and material or equipment needs based on load orders or oral instructions.
• Transports freight, stock, and other materials using pallet jacks from the staging area to the trailer.
• Maintains warehouse safety for all team members and ensures product quality and security according to safety procedures.
• Ensures maintenance, cleanliness, and good operating condition of equipment and warehouse.
• Ensures accuracy of loading orders to reduce overall shipping costs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
