Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • Eighteen (18) years or older
  • Ability to maintain a good attendance record
  • Availability for overtime
  • Must be self-motivated and conscientious
  • Ability to work well with a team or other coworkers
  • Mechanical aptitude and analytical skills to solve mechanical problems
  • Ability to complete certification requirements

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of Food or chemical manufacturing experience
  • 6 months of prior electric pallet jack operation and safety certification
  • Prior inventory control experience
  • RF Scanner experience
  • Cycle counting experience
  • SAP experience
  • Use of MS products, Excel and SAP software

Responsibilities

  • Safely moves finished goods and materials throughout the facility
  • Loading/unloading trucks
  • Putting away product in racks or tier stacking on the production floor
  • Supporting shipping and receiving (including 3PL)
  • Maintaining a clean, safe work environment
  • Keep lift trucks clean and in safe working condition
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and quality requirements
  • Enter and track SKU, lot code, and expiration dates in forms and RF system
  • Verify materials and codes to meet specifications; document results
  • Stage and deliver materials to production
  • Wrap and stage finished goods in assigned locations
  • Support warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and material handling
  • Use the inventory system to capture all movements and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Assist with cycle counts per program requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned while maintaining safety and sanitation standards
